India`s obsession with these pellet guns has had a devastating effect on the unarmed Kashmiris fighting for their freedom for the last 70 years impaired by forces on either side of the border.
The issue stands still with increasing number of protestors surviving pellet injuries every now and then.
These Kashmiris aren’t aiming to capture Indian cows which are more important than Delhi’s nuclear reserves may be. Freedom is what they want and most importantly their definition of freedom differs from what the state thinks.
The self-proclaimed narrative of being an Asian tiger has encircled Delhi with a unique sense of pride that will be counterintuitive for them in the near future.
Bharat isn’t that Mahan as they think they are, a first step may be withdrawing from their favorite so-called non-lethal weapon and let the Kashmiris stand for their rights wishfully.
